Edward Furlong, on the other hand, shone brightly from the outset. He won Teen Idol and went on to star in Terminator 2: Judgement Day as John Connor. In American History X, his portrayal of a skinhead was acclaimed for its realism but condemned for its horrifying violence. Furlong has been in several films throughout the years, including Pet Sematary 2, American Heart, Detroit Rock City, The Green Hornet, and A Home of Our Own. His acting career extended until the 1990s, with different degrees of success (including another Terminator picture) and a Japanese-only song, Hold on Tight.

Edward’s life had finally tipped out of whack. His reputation began to deteriorate as a result of his quickly escalating drug and alcohol problems. Edward was ultimately accepted to treatment in October of 2000. He said, “I was a drug user who used opium and cocaine. It was very frightening. I haven’t spoken about [partying] in a long time. Playing, clubbing, and doping coke seems to be lonely now. Taking heavy drugs gives me insomnia.” His prior drug addiction troubles are readily obvious on his face.
